2008 Channel Islands Harbor Half Marathon &10k is shaping up to be one of the best events in Oxnard!  

Our goal is to provide a safe fun event at the beautiful beaches of Oxnard and surrounding cities. 

As a Triathlete I wanted to create an event that was fun, challenging, and at distances that most anyone could accomplish.  My hope is that these events will ignite the spark of friendly competition that lives deep in  all of us. 

My Name is Bill Escobar and I am a Ventura County Native.   I have been a long distance runner most of my adult life and  In my early forties I decided to dive into triathlon.  I fell in love with the sport and now I am trying to do what I can to help others realize their triathlon and multi sport dreams too.   Remember...  it's mind over matter, if you don't mind it don't matter...   Have a great race!
