Elite Sports Ventura County's goal is to provide a safe fun event at the beautiful beaches of Oxnard and Ventura, the sunny country roads of Camarillo, the wonderful rolling hills of Ventura, and surrounding cities of Ventura County. 

My name is Bill Escobar and I am a Ventura County Native and the Race Director for all the Elite Sports events.  I have been a long distance runner most of my adult life and in my early forties I decided to dive into triathlons.  I fell in love with the sport and now I am trying to do what I can to help others realize their triathlon and multi-sport dreams too.   

As an athlete, I wanted to bring high quality multi-sport events to Ventura County that would appeal to athletes of all levels of fitness.  We strive to continually improve our events to keep the spirit of fitness alive and provide a fun way for people to stay focused on healthy living.  My hope is that these events will ignite the spark of friendly competition that lives deep inside all of us.
